[tex-live] upgrade procedure

Hi,

What is the recommended procedure for upgrading TeX Live from 2010 to
2011 (on debian sid `manually', i.e. not using the debian package)?
Pointers to any documented recommendation is appreciated (I couldn't
find anything in the TeX Live Guide for 2011).

I just installed 2011 in /usr/local/texlive/2011/ (2.6G) without
touching /usr/local/texlive/2010/ (2.9G). Can I now just `rm -r
/usr/local/texlive/2010/'? Thanks,
