[tex-live] Installation of TL2010

Hi,

your two sentences:

> Without the DVD inside device I get the failure 
> "XeLaTeX exited abnormally with code 255". 

and

> Starting of XeTeX from command line shows no problems.

Are a bit contradictory. Please tell us *what* gives the first warning.

Questions:
DVD in the drive, starting from cmd line, does it work?
DVD not in the drive, starting from cmd line, does it work?
