[tex-live] Bayer not on CTAN

Does anyone know what happened to the bayer fonts on CTAN?  They still
exist in TeX Live, but they're on CTAN only as

    systems/texlive/tlnet/archive/bayer.doc.tar.xz
    systems/texlive/tlnet/archive/bayer.source.tar.xz
    systems/texlive/tlnet/archive/bayer.tar.xz

not in fonts/bayer or any other likely CTAN directory.
