[tex-live] Nightly build: \pagecolor became undefined

After this night update \pagecolor{}  returns "undefined" error (I ran
also last night update)

Suspect:

geometry
pdftex-def

(but I would not bet my farm on it)

\GPT@@shipout ...tputbox =\vbox {\GPT at pageliteral
                                                  \box \GPT at outputbox }\GPTo...

Despite reporting an error it works for this example but throws a
monkey wrench to more complicated documents
