The reason I assumed that something went wrong is this:

$ tlmgr update --self --all
[....]
[13/60, 05:11/36:41] update: fontspec [2763k] (19458 -> 19649) ... done

and then:

$ tlmgr show fontspec
[....]
revision:    19649
cat-version: v2.0c
cat-date:    2010-08-01 19:08:30 +0200

Where does this come from if in the repo there is v2.0b, rev. 19458,
from 2010-07-15 ?
