[tex-live] a quick question: unable to install new bibliography styles

Hi,

  I tried to use the bibtex style: 
http://arxiv.org/hypertex/bibstyles/hep.bst
  I put hep.bst into texmf-local/bibtex/bst/local/ and run texhash as 
well as mktexlsr. But when I use \bibliographystyle{hep} in my paper, it 
doesn't work. When I replace hep with plain or alpha, it works, but 
that's not what I want.

  Suggestions please. Thanks.
