I installed last night TL2010 to x86_64-linux. It was extremely smooth
(albeit pretty lengthy, 5h)
so far no updates.

However I would like to have few things clarified:

1) /usr/local/texlive/2010/bin/x86_64-linux/ is almost twice larger than
/usr/local/texlive/2009/bin/x86_64-linux/ and I see a lots of new binaries

< bibtexu
< chktex
< chkweb
< deweb
< dvisvgm
< makejvf
< mendex
< pbibtex
< pdvitype
< platex
< ppltotf
< ptex
< ptftopl
< repstopdf

and some binaries have gone.

> mtxtools
> pdftools
> pstopdf
> runtools
> texfont
> textools
> texutil
> tmftools
> xmltools

While none of the latter seem to be of great importance it would be
worth to know which of them will reemerge later, which are replaced
and which are gone (on multiuser system there will be always someone
who uses the least important and obsolete tool and opens mouth wilely
if it disappears :-(

2) I thought that texworks will be included in TL2010, Is there hope
that they will come to final?

Thank you. Victor
