Dear Norbert,
it's somehow still readable, but nevertheless a bit weird. The
documentation of most TL scripts looks like the following in bash on
Mac. Is there any simple way to "make it more user friendly"? (low
priority)
Thanks,
Mojca

The TeX Live installer works across all supported platforms and allows
to install TeX Live from various media, including the network. For
information on initially downloading TeX Live, see
<http://tug.org/texlive/acquire.html>.
The basic idea of TeX Live installation is to choose one of the top-
level ESC[4mschemesESC[24m, each of which is defined as a
different set of ESC[4mcollec‐ESC[0m
ESC[4mtionsESC[24m and ESC[4mpackagesESC[24m, where a
collection is a set of packages, and a
package is what contains actual files.
