[tex-live] Problem in updating texlive-2009

That is very strange. I can only assume that wget on your computer is
actually broekn.

Can you please type in the following on a shell prompt:

wget --user-agent=texlive/wget --tries=10 --timeout=900 http://gd.tuwien.ac.at/publishing/tex/CTAN/systems/texlive/tlnet//tlpkg/texlive.tlpdb.xz

ans see if that downloads something at all? Are there any error messages?
