Yes, if we're standing side-by-side at the camp fire, and you
accidentally throw your beer all over me, and I say (sarcastically)
"Thanks, Norbert !", no-one will take offence. But a mailing
list isn't like that : I don't know how many members this list
has, but every time that anyone resorts to sarcasm, I suspect
that the majority of the list recipients wince. We all /know/
that some questioners can appear opaque, and that some questions
are dragged out beyond all reasonable expectations, but that really
doesn't give you (or any other list member) carte blanche to let
loose with ill-concealed vitriol. Try (please) just to step back,
and let someone else who is less inclined to go o.t.t., respond
to the question/questioner/offender.
