Interestingly enough, the version shipped with TL segfaults just as in Ulrik's
report, while a locally compiled version (with debugging symbols, using the
sources in xetex's trunk) doesn't.

Sounds very much like Khaled's report conerning LuaTeX, one hour ago...

I'm now going to try out more versions.
