[tex-live] TeX-live updates on Solaris10?

I apologize for resending this but I haven't gotten any reply and all my 
attempts to convinve tlmgr to update the distribution brought forth no 
effect. I could keep updating my MikTex distribution so I see that TeX changes 
are posted out. 

Would it be possible to continue the TexLive2009 tlmgr to update the 
distribution or should I wait unitl the TeXlive2010 is out ?
