Well that was not a request, probably the Catalogue used some different
time stamps back then. Anyway, I don't see a problem for us to keep
it, of - time permitting - fix our parsing routine.

Ok, then that is fine, there is no ctan path.

We do not depend on it, it is there only for convenience, but it is not
used in any way in our scripts or tools.
