[tex-live] TL2009 - reporting

Hi all,

today I successfully installed TL2009 on my Ubuntu-System installing
binaries for linux and win32.

First try:
Distribution: net  (downloading)
Using URL: ftp://ftp.ctex.org/mirrors/texlive/tlnet

Installing [0380/2063, time/total: 05:24:04/07:31:33]: concmath [42k]
Downloading
ftp://ftp.ctex.org/mirrors/texlive/tlnet/archive/concmath.doc.tar.xz did
not succeed.
Installation failed.

Second try:
Rerunning the installer will try to restart the installation.
Or you can restart by running the installer with:
  install-tl --profile installation.profile [EXTRA-ARGS]

Automated TeX Live installation using profile: installation.profile
Installing TeX Live 2009 from: http://texlive.guiling.fr
Platform: i386-linux => 'Intel x86 with GNU/Linux'
Distribution: net  (downloading)
Using URL: http://texlive.guiling.fr

went on smooth without any problem

Testing after installation:

On my Vista-PC using WinEdt everything went fine without any tuning

On my Ubuntu-System everythings ok for root

For a normal user latex is not found :-(

I checked/edited:

.bash_profile in users home
/etc/enviroment

for the correct PATH but it doesnt work

I have to admit that I'm not experienced in this.
