TUG's Getting Started page [0] still recommends proTeXt for
Windows, which installs MikTeX.  I wasn't even aware that TeX Live
ran on Windows until this thread; given that it does, I'm inclined
to look at it seriously, as we run TeX Live on our Linux boxes and
Mac OS X machines (through MacTeX), and having one true TeX system
across all platforms might be nice.
