[tex-live] tlmgr revision 15645: Can't call method "revision" on an undefined value at [...]/tlmgr line 2060.

It is a(nother) rainy Saturday here, so updating TL2009 prerelease on
my home server:

$ tlmgr update --self
tlmgr: package repository /Data/opt/tex/texlive/svn/Master

tlmgr: package log updated at /usr/local/texlive/2009/texmf-var/web2c/tlmgr.log

$ tlmgr update --all

Can't call method "revision" on an undefined value at
/usr/local/texlive/2009/bin/i386-linux/tlmgr line 2060.

$ tlmgr --version
tlmgr revision 15645 (2009-10-05 17:31:13 +0200)
tlmgr using installation: /usr/local/texlive/2009

This machine was last updated a week ago, but svn is run each night.

I have been doing updates (mostly using a CTAN mirror) more regularly
on my laptop.  The
tlmgr version is the same, and the updates have worked.

Running svn and starting over:

$ tlmgr update --self
tlmgr: package repository /Data/opt/tex/texlive/svn/Master
[1/1, ??:??/??:??] update: texlive.infra [1249k] (15706 -> 15723) ... done
tlmgr: package log updated at /usr/local/texlive/2009/texmf-var/web2c/tlmgr.log
running mktexlsr ...
done running mktexlsr.
$ tlmgr update --all
[...]
worked.  I also updated my laptop from the same svn directory and that works
as well, so the problem appears to have been transient.
