[tex-live] tlmgr: Is it possible to see the version number of a ctan package?

Depends on your definition of bug... I would say this is a known
limitation: our update process cannot guarantee that the catalogue
information included in the TeX Live database is always in sync with the
actual files in the package.

We are well aware of it, but AFAICS there is no easy way to get it right
100% of the time. OTOH, the information should be exact most of the
time. (Hyperref is changing quite fast, so it's not very surprising that
  the info for the particular package is out of sync.)
