[tex-live] (TexLive 2009 - win32) Trouble with makeglossaries

in win32 folder the makeglossaries.exe pops up the following message :
  tl-w32-wrapper.cmd: no appropriate script or program found: makeglossaries

After digging a little, i've found that makeglossaries perl script is on the
right folder [TL09]/texmf-dist/scripts/glossaries.
The script file is without extension, if i rename it to ''makeglossaries.pl''
the wrapper command works !

The file search mechanism or some part of the wrapper seems to be buggy.....

As an alternative, it is possible to rename/ensure that perl script have pl
extension it works for now but it could be beter to have this fixed...
