Hello Karl and others,
we use TeX Live as a source for ConTeXt binaries (supporting
i386-linux, x86_64-linux, powerpc-linux, i386-darwin, x86_64-darwin,
powerpc-darwin, i386-freebsd, amd64-freebsd; conditionally
i386-solaris and sparc-solaris) and we critically depend on both TeX
Live's and Akira's binaries. I have updated the binares from TL
repository yesterday just to discover that the FreeBSD binaries for
both architectures have disappeared at once.
I'm not asking for inclusion on DVD (it would be by far too late
anyway), but it's really a pitty that they are missing (I can still
copy the binaries from TL 2008 for some time, but sooner or later they
will become really outdated).
Is the reason for exclusion lack of space on DVD or lack of people
willing to compile the binaries for that specific platform?
Thanks a lot,
Mojca
