[tex-live] hyperref babel english words with greek characters

Dear LaTeX experts, I am encountering a peculiar problem with hyperref.

I have a document (using babel in greek language) that mixes greek and
english names in its chapters/sections.

When I use hyperref, english names are appeared with greek characters
in the Table of Contents, e.g. Τηεορεμ instead of Theorem.

Do you have any idea why is this happening? I read the manual of
hyperref but nothing valuable was found....
