[tex-live] Uninstall Texlive2008 (no bug)-HELP!

Hello!

How can I easily uninstall texlive2008, including all components?

I installed texlive2008 using the install-tl -gui.

When I tried to install "latex-plugin" for the "gedit"-Editor,
Synaptic wanted to install texlive2007. There seems to be a dependency
between those packages.

Can you please help me, if you know something about Ubuntu.
(I am a linux newbie, not knowing much about console!)
