Well that is completely useless, since we are shipping for arch-linux,
not for Debian. What about SuSE, RedHat, Ubuntu, or any other Linux
distribution. not to speak of solaris, hpux, apple, bsd, .....
uname is the one that is universally there. Not dpkg.
