[tex-live] Error at installing TeX-Live 2008 on Ubuntu

Now I did everything what you wrote, but now I can't start the
install-tl. If I want to start it, there is the following error:

max at chaac:~/Downloads/install-tl$ sudo ./install-tl -v 

sudo: ./install-tl: command not found


But I don't know, why the error suddenly appeared. I only deleteted all
files on /usr/local/texlive, but /usr/local/texlive/2008/temp.
I should do that, or did I understand you wrong?
