[tex-live] Error at installing TeX-Live 2008 on Ubuntu

That is bad.

Here it should have stopped, bummer, somehow that one got lost. That is
a deadly error...

A usual consequence of the fact that the installation hasn't finished.

Did you restart the installation, or initialized a complete new
installation?

If you did restart (as given by install-tl above message), did it
continue or did it break always at the same package?
