[tex-live] TL'09 pretest & XeTeX: "Cannot find Constantia.mf"

(Removed the XɘTeX list, since this is definitely a Τεχ Live issue.)

After applying the fix to install-tl from the “install hangs/path not
set” thread, this issue also appears to have been fixed.  At least,
fc-list gives me information about installed fonts.  I guess the font
configuration was one of the things that the (fixed) hang deferred.

Issue resolved!
