It does not define the meaning of freedom, it defines what it accepts
into Main, i.e., as proper part of Debian.

There are many differences in interpretation, foremost GFDL related.

I 'm not a license zealot, nor Debian religious, but your attacks
are without foundation. 

If Debian decides that something does not fit into it, then so it be,
other can do differently, nobody in Debian forces you to follow the
DFSG.
