[tex-live] how to download Tex-live 2008

Hi,

I am new to this group and Tex so I am hoping someone will be able to lead me in the right direction.  I am trying to get ahold of Tex program and I have failed miserably.  So far I have been able to download the file from the tex-live webpage, which is IZMA zipped file (1.2 GB) and downloaded the IZMA utilities to unzip the tex zipped file.  After I unzipped the IZMA utilities, I did not find any executable file to unzip the tex-live file.  This is where I am stuck.  Please help!
