[tex-live] Bullet points missing in xetex

Same here, gmutils (loaded by gmverb) seems to interfere, specifically the line
  \@ifXeTeX{\chardef\textbullet="2022 }{\def\textbullet{$\bullet$}}

Proven by the sample document

\documentclass{article}
\chardef\textbullet="2022
\begin{document}
\begin{itemize}
\item test
\item 123
\end{itemize}
\end{document}

Running
  This is XeTeX, Version 3.1415926-2.2-0.999.6 (MiKTeX 2.7)
