i've asked the asymptote people to upload, and they've not responded.

what do you mean?  elatex was renamed etoolbox: from the catalogue svn log:

the memoir distribution is confusing; i've asked peter to rearrange.

(this latest, very recent, update arrived while i was *very* ill, and i
made a mess of the installation.)

that was installed on ctan much later than the date would imply (again,
something i installed several days after being asked to install).

superseded by pst-pdf (we were explicitly asked to mark ps4pdf
obsolete).

these things rush by so quickly, it probably appeared and disappeared
before tl noticed.  there are at least two new ones...
