unusable location /media/TeXLive2008/tlpkg/texlive.tlpdb, could not Does that file exist? Can you read it? Is it text all the way to the end? Maybe the DVD itself is corrupted somehow? Not likely, but possible. Did you burn the iso image that we distribute, or something else? k
