[tex-live] extra font folder in windows for fc-cache?

Hi all,

Is there any file I can put my font folder record (other that C:\Windows\Fonts) in for fc-cache? I know in texlive\2008\texmf-var\fonts\conf there is a fonts.conf, but my change to this file is often discarded by the update of texlive. Can I have a local file that will not be replaced every time I update my texlive?
