It sounds like there must be some new hyphenation patterns recently  
added to the distribution, and the trie_size value in texmf.cnf needs  
to be increased to allow for them. Try changing

trie_size = 600000

to

trie_size = 700000

and let us know if that resolves the problem. (Sorry, I don't have a  
fully updated setup to experiment with right now.)
