Hello,

If you want that path-extension to take effect only for you as user, then
you can put this line in your .bashrc or .profile. If you want it to take
effect for all users of the system, then you can create a new file
/etc/profile.d/texlive.sh with this one line or add this line to
/etc/profile.

If you want the latest and greatest texlive (trunk-version) as rpm-package,
then you could also try this: http://pmrb.free.fr/texlive/
