[tex-live] troubles at cam.ctan.org

a new mactex overnight was the straw to break the camel's back of
cam.ctan.org's ctan partition; mirroring failed, and mactex has only
been completely restored in the last hour.

my apologies for this: it had _looked_ as if i had 1.5gbyte free on the
partition, but it appears i only had 500mbyte or so.  (the machine is
due for overhaul/replacement soon, so adding 16gbyte to the partition
should keep us going in the short term...)
