This is the bug where the list of files to be archived using tar is too long
for the cmd input buffer.   There is a fix that was created just before
Christmas, so you need to watch for an update to tlmgr (or reinstall
using the latest version), maybe following the instructions for updating
in:

<http://tug.org/texlive/tlmgr.html>

You will also need to check the status of the venturisadf package on
your system.   Please post your results, as I encountered this bug
last week but have not had access to WInXP since then to investigate.
