[tex-live] TL-2008 net installer

Having resumed as recommend by the PM after
the failure to download encTeX, the installation
resumed but I noticed some "failed to create
cache" messages during its closing phase.  Rather
more disturbingly, the CMD window has now
disappeared, there never was a GUI on the resume,
and I am left competely in the dark as to whether
or not the PM thinks the installation is now complete :-(
