Hi Siep,

    over both layers of the dvd. What is the status on this aspect?

None that I know of.  Life goes on.

As I wrote before, I have not seen any relevant mkisofs options, and
don't know what other (preferably batchable) tools are available, to
optimize DVD layout.

If anyone can send me a patch to MakeImages.sh to improve things, that
would be great.
