[tex-live] gs reports error: "Embedded font uses undefined procedure(s)"

with the minimal test file:

the pdf produced by pdftex (1.40.3) and dvipdfm (0.13.2c)
seems to make gs (AFPL Ghostscript 8.53 (2005-10-20) on debian linux)
unhappy:

the same error with gs-esp (8.15)

when extracting the font from the pdf, it seems to be quite ok, ND and RD are
defined there and t1lint didn't report anything.

Can it be a problem of gs?
