I don't try to do that, but I have a script which compares inst and
Master/texmf, sort of.  (I think I may have sent it to you once,
Reinhard.)  Then I make adjustments by hand.  Someday there will be a
better way (or not).

I believe Jukka is reporting a problem with the result of the Build into
inst, not the contents of the Master tree.  In fact, I don't see bbox.1
and ps2eps.1 in the Master tree at all -- a bug in itself.  Looking at
ps2eps/Makefile.in, I don't see an obvious reason for there to be a
difference in ps2eps and everything else.  Maybe the variable not
getting passed down from the upper make?
