  Looks like you have to point LD_LIBRARY_PATH to the location of your
libstdc++ (and to install it first if necessary, of course!).

  This is a buggy interaction between Solaris and the TECkit
configuration process, I think, but tweaking with your runtime library
path works. How do the other people here compiling on Solaris do, by the
way?
