For Unix, I simply haven't had time to integrate xpdf, and there is
no one else doing such things.

For Windows, there is no free (libre) PDF viewer, as far as I know -- if
anyone knows of one, I'd love to proved wrong!  I really wish a Windows
programmer would come forward to port gv or xpdf or whatever.  (The xpdf
backend stuff is ported, but not the actual viewer.)
