[tex-live] [OT] chroot'ed texlive installation

has anyone any experiences setting up a chroot'ed texlive installation?

I basically need one for a wiki-like application. I need to use a 
chroot'ed installation because the server should be able to compile user 
uploaded files (that's the only way we can be sure that the user has 
uploaded everything needed for this particular article).

I just don't know how to figure out which system components that needs to 
be available in the chroot or how one figures this out.
