I was not sure when replacing xdvi in TeX Live with a
customized version of this tool was a good idea.
The version of xdvi(k) in TL is simply whatever was the latest xdvi
release. There shouldn't be any issues with compiling it from source
and using the new binary in the TL bin directory.
