Unfortunatelly not. If the command line argument contains spaces, cmd.exe
requires to put it inside "...". If a string is used in GNU awk for OS/2,
it also requires "...". Thus the argument would have to be something like
"... "string" ..." which, of course, does not work and I did not manage to
find any escaping mechanism. Bash allows '... "string" ...'.
