Hi list,

I find a bug in texlivetest2006-live-20061217.iso, about which, I
describe it as follows:

After I've installed this version of texlive, according to the default
settings, the value of $TEXMFHOME should be *$HOME/texmf*. So I use the
following command to see the value of $TEXMFHOME:

$ kpsewhich -expand-var '$TEXMFHOME'

But I get the result as this:

$ /home/zhaohs//home/zhaohs/texmf

Please note, here, /home/zhaohs is the value of my $HOME. In order to
confirm the reason of the above thing, I use the following command:

$ sed -n '/^TEXMFHOME.*$/p' /usr/local/texlive/2006/texmf/web2c/texmf.cnf,
and I get the following result:

Obviously, this is a bug of this version of texlive, the value of $TEXMFHOME
shoule be $HOME/texmf other than $HOME/$HOME/texmf.

Fix it, please.
