[tex-live] installation of TEX

Dear Madam or Sir,

I just tried to install the quick install distribution for Windows XP. I
downloaded the bzipped ISO image and don't know how to install it now
because your suggested

cd /the/texlive/distribution

does not work

please e-mail me how I can install and start to work with TeX.
