[tex-live] pgf hosed?

Hi Karl!

Is change #8537 putting pgf into
	texmf-dist/latex
(without intermediate generi, tex or whatever) intended?

In 
	texmf-dist/latex
there is *only* pgf, is this the right place? At least *my* installation
does *not* find the pgf.sty file!

In the description of the change I see:
	pgf 3.00, now generic instead of latex.
This seems all a bit wrong.
