[tex-live] Bug#312888: tetex-bin: Debian needs a tex-common package

Hi,

as discussed before, for the inclusion of tex-live packages into Debian,
we need to split off parts of tetex-bin into a tex-common package.  This
is the bug report that is going to remind us about this.

On a related note, maybe we should consider to create a tetex-common
package which is built from the tex-common source (and thus does not
trigger downloads of -base, -extra, or -bin when updated) and contains
as much of the Debian-specific teTeX stuff as possible.

Norbert, it seems nobody has reported an ITP bug for tex-live against
the wnpp package.  Will you do this?
