Hi all!

I would like to have something similar to the language.XX.dat for
formats. So that if a tpm installs a new engine, it also contains a file
formats.xxx.cnf (eg) which contains the format definitions formatted for
fmtutil.cnf. Furthermore, in the action there should be something like
xxx as parameter so that when running the tpm file, I can look up
formats.xxx.cnf, incorporate it into the fmtutil.cnf file (or for debian
into /etc/texmf/fmtutil.d/) and be happy ;-)

How would we do this?

Best wishes

Norbert
