[tex-live] TeXlive for Debian/Sarge and upward - version 2005.08.24-1 online

Hello,

I wiped out everything as recommended and reinstall with
	apt-get install texlive-latexrecommended
and now it appears that only latex.fmt is generated in
/var/lib/texmf/web2c (and not others). Is this the intended behaviour?

I try pdflatex as an ordinary user with no problems for pdflatex.fnt is
automatically generated $HOME/.texmf-var
